Charged By Whom?

WHO CAN CHARGE US?

 

Here is what every believer knows from the testimony of Holy Scripture and from the experience and conviction of his own heart (John 16:8-11). We know, recognize and confess the problem and plague of our own heart, is sin (Romans 3:9-12; 5:12). 

 

But thank God, we also know the solution for sin, Christ and Him crucified (I Corinthians 2:2), Christ our propitiation for sin (Romans 3:25). Christ Jesus crucified (Romans 4:25), the Substitute (II  Corinthians 5:21), Surety (Hebrews 7:22), Satisfaction (I John 4:10) and Saviour (Matthew 1:21) is our only answer to every just charge against us: 

 

“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” -Romans 8:33-34 [KJV]

Great Encouragement in Christ JESUS ~ 19 October, 2025 A.D.

"Behold, he prayeth!"   -Acts 9:11 [KJV] In many trades, it is customary to shew samples or patterns. By these men judge of the goodness or quality of the whole. St. Paul sets himself forth as a sample, or pattern, of the free, distinguishing, sovereign, unmerited grace of God, that we should judge of its nature by its efficacy upon him. “I obtained mercy, for this cause, that in me first   (-a first rate sinner) Jesus Christ may shew forth His all long suffering, for a pattern to them who should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting”   (I Timothy 1:16.) LORD JESUS, Be Merciful...

" LORD, be merciful to me: heal my soul, for I have sinned against Thee." -Psalm 41:4 [KJV] Is this the language of the man after God’s own heart? Was David a saint when he uttered it? Yes, he was a holy man of God. This confession and prayer shew it.
