AT WAR WITH SIN - AT PEACE IN CHRIST

It is true that I have sin in me, but it is pardoned. God has forgiven me all trespasses. I stand before Him in my Redeemer, Who undertook for me, and I am perfect in Him. The Father chose me in His Son: He looks upon the face of His beloved, and sees me in Him. In Christ He is well pleased, so He is with me! As He loves Christ He loves me! This is the glorious privilege which by faith I now enjoy. I deny sight and sense, and I believe the Word of God! I adhere strictly to the Word of God concerning me, believing myself to be dead indeed unto sin in Christ, and in Him absolutely freed from guilt and condemnation. The Father is at peace with me, and He loves me in His son, with the same love with which He loves Christ His Father and my Father. With this persuasion I go to war with my corruption. They are fighting against everything that is dear and precious to my soul. But having the promised grace of the almighty Savior for my help, I desire to set upon them in His name....

For God's Little Flock In Christ

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, a nd will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty." -II C ORINTHIANS 6:14-18 [KJV] What a mockery is a mere profession of religion which costs a man nothing! There is no more true religion than what is felt, known, and experienced in the soul. Real religion will find its way to the heart, and its effect will be manifest in the life. When ...

IT IS FINISHED!

"The L ORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want." -P SALM 23: 1 [KJV] What a promise! What a glorious inheritance! What a blessed comfort! Walk in it, believer; lie down upon it; trust in it; rest upon it. It will do for all the days of your life and be a soft pillow for your death. When the news is not good, when your body is tired, when disappointment and doubts fill your mind, when the flesh is weary and weak and you lie upon your bed staring into the sleepless darkness asking yourself, "What shall I do?" hum to yourself these blessed words, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." Those words will be like a lullaby to your soul, and you will find rest. - Gospel report by preacher Henry Mahan Please find enclosed link to audio Gospel sermons: https://www.sermonaudio.com/search.asp?speakeronly=true&currsection=sermonsspeaker&keyword=Henry_Mahan

The LORD JESUS and all His blessings are good!

"Hold fast that which is good." -I THESSALONIANS 5:21 [KJV]   There are two things especially which every saint of God is called upon to hold fast: these are, first, the beginning of God's work upon his soul; and, secondly, his deliverance. Any manifestation too that you have had of the Lord Jesus Christ; any application of H is atoning blood; any discovery of H is glorious Person or shedding abroad of H is love; hold that fast, for it is good. And so I may say, hold fast any promise you have ever had applied; any answer to prayer you have ever received; any felt blessing that may have been wrought in your heart by a divine power. All this is good. It comes from a good God; it works in a good way; it leads to a good end; it will make a good deathbed, and will land you in a most blessed eternity.   Therefore "hold fast that which is good." Everything which is commended to your conscience as really good; every good man; every good minister;...
