Waiting! COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS

“ Rest in the L ORD and wait patiently for Him.” - P SALM 37:7 [KJV] Child of God, repose your soul upon the Lord; quietly submit to His will. Rest in Him Who surrounds you with His presence. “ Wait patiently for Him , ” because time is nothing to the Lord, therefore let it be of no consequence to you. When we read a story, we wait for the end to clear up the plot. Be patient, the Lord has ordained the end from the beginning and like the hymn writer said, “In heaven’s clearer light I’ll see, all things worked out for good!” As He goes before you to lead the way so goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. You say your troubles are mighty, but is not your Savior the Almighty God? Do not allow your heart to be agitated by difficult circumstances. Are they not meted out and controlled by your infinitely wise Lord? It is true that “ the wicked are like the troubled sea that cannot rest,” but you aren’t wicked, you are righteous in the Lord

Saved by Sovereign Grace!

By the Lord’s determination, We were chosen to salvation; This our grateful declaration - Saved by sovereign grace. Christ accomplished our redemption By His death and resurrection; This our joyful contemplation, Saved forevermore. With His blood the Savior bought us, Lovingly the Shepherd sought us, And His Spirit now has taught us, Jesus saves from sin. Members of a holy nation, There is now no condemnation; By the Spirit’s revelation, Saved by Christ alone. Lost in sin, the Savior found us, Broke the chains of sin that bound us; O what love and grace surround us, We are safe in Him. Merciful Gracious LORD JESUS!

"And I will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." -R EVELATION 2:17 [KJV] In ancient times they used to decide cases by white and black stones. The judges (for they were rather judges than jury) did not give their verdict upon the prisoner by oral testimony, "guilty," or "not guilty," as in our country, but by dropping into an urn a white stone to express their opinion that the prisoner was innocent, or a black stone to declare their judgment that the prisoner was guilty. The Lord has made use of this figure. He says, "To him that overcometh I will give a white stone;" that is, I will give into his conscience a sentence of acquittal. As the white stone was dropped into the urn, so peace and pardon are dropped into the sinner's bosom; and just as the judge, when he deposited the white stone in the urn, declared thereby the prisoner's innocence; so wh
