Chosen of The LORD!

"I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away." -Isaiah 41:9  [KJV] Is this thy portion, my soul? Hath the Lord thy God indeed chosen thee? Hath He manifested His love to thee in so distinguishing a way? Take comfort, then, in all thine exercises, when seasons of darkness .and discouragement are around; think of God's choice, and venture on God's love. Art thou distressed, exercised, afflicted? The Wednesday Word

  Refreshment in the Gospel. by D.G. Miles McKee   One of the wonderful qualities of the gospel is that it brings refreshment to the believers who listen.  My friend Daniel E Parks of Saint Croix, US Virgin Islands wrote the following very refreshing piece saying,  “Jesus Christ possessed both the divine and the human natures. His  divine  nature  is inherent to Him , for He is expressly declared to be God from eternity.
