"O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for Thee" -Isaiah 33:2

"The fear of  the LORD   is his  treasure." -ISAIAH 33:6 [KJV] "The fear of the Lord is his treasure." And, oh, what a treasure is this fear! Treasure in ancient times was generally hidden; it was concealed from the eye of man, hoarded up, and not brought out ostentatiously to view. Wealthy men of old hid the knowledge of their treasures, lest they should be spoiled of them by the hand of violence. So spiritually, the fear of the Lord is hidden in the heart, and lies deep in the soul; it is not spread out ostentatiously to view, but is buried out of sight in a man's conscience. But though hidden from others, and sometimes even from ourselves, this "fear of the L ORD " will act as circumstances draw it forth. There may be times and seasons when we seem almost hardened and conscience-seared; sin appears to have such power over us, and evil thoughts and desires so carry us away, that we cannot trace one atom of godly f...

Nothing but The Blood of Christ...

“ But if we walk in the light, as H e is in the light,  we have fellowship one with another, and the  blood of Jesus Christ H is Son cleanseth us from  all sin.” - I JOHN 1:7 [KJV] Nothing but the blood of Christ can save guilty sinners! I care not how orthodox the DOCTRINE, how exact the ORDINANCE, how true the FORM, how scriptural the PRACTICE, it is all vain and empty if you rely upon it for acceptance with God . God forbid that we should at any time say a word against these holy and precious things; but, KEEP THEM IN THEIR PLACE! If you make anything but the person and work of Christ to be the basis of your soul’s salvation, you shall be disappointed and ashamed in that day. There is no saving power anywhere except in THE BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. -Gospel report by preacher Henry Mahan Please find enclosed link to Audio Gospel Sermons here: https://www.sermonaudio.com/search.asp?speakeronly=true&currsection=sermons...

A JUST GOD and A SAVIOR!

The principle of “love” may well be distorted by men when they speak of the love of God to men. However, the principle of justice is not quite so easily distorted. Thus, the love of God to His people is described as their “justification.” In love, God justifies His elect, declaring them righteous through Jesus Christ and His righteous death. He does this showing that His love is a just love in Christ crucified and He is always at the same time “A JUST GOD and (not “but”) A SAVIOR.” His love is demonstrated by His giving Himself for us, redeeming us from all iniquity. As the hymn writer wrote: “Redeeming love has been my theme and shall be till I die.” - Gospel report by preacher Gary Shepard Sovereign Grace Baptist church of Jacksonville, North Carolina USA Please find link enclosed for Audio Gospel Sermons and Contact Info: https://www.sermonaudio.com/source_detail.asp?sourceid=allsovgrace

"KEEP ME"

“ Keep me as the apple of the eye,  hide me under the shadow of Thy wings”   - P SALM 17:8 [KJV] Is this not the prayer of all God’s children? Knowing something of our sinfulness, weaknesses, fickleness, unbelief and tendency to roam, we constantly pray, Lord keep me. “Keep” means watch over, preserve, guard and protect. Keep me at all times. Keep me when You lead me into the valley of trial lest I be filled with hopelessness. Keep me when I ascend to successes in life lest I be filled with pride. Keep me in the time of sickness lest I be overcome with despair. Keep me in the time of health lest I be presumptuous. Keep me in the days of youth lest I waste my life in frivolity. Keep me in the days of old age when I grow weak and feeble. Keep me when I am sick. Keep me when I am well. Keep me when I rejoice. Keep me when I am sad. Keep me when I am awake. Keep me when I am asleep. Keep me when I remember Thee. Keep me when I forget Thee. Keep me wh...
