No one can explain God like Jesus for He is God. He is God’s self-declaration (John 1:18). So, you want to know God? That’s commendable. But look no farther than Jesus. He is the visible image of the invisible God (see Colossians 1:15). In Him the fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form (Colossians 2:9). Jesus is the Foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11). He is the foundation upon which we build our Christian life. “But surely” someone says, “the apostles and prophets are our foundation.” Doesn’t the Bible say that we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:20)?
