Teach us, O Lord Jesus!

"Take heed what ye hear" ­ M ARK 4:24 [KJV] "Take heed how ye hear" ­ L UKE 8:18 [KJV] Hearing is a critical part of the Gospel scheme. "How shall they believe on Him whom they have not heard?" "Faith cometh by hearing." Why the Gospel itself is called in Galatians 3:2-5, "The hearing of faith." Is it any wonder the Saviour said, "Take heed what ye hear," and "Take heed how ye hear . " What has to do with the content of that which is heard. How has to do with the manner of hearing. I will be what I hear. If I hear error, I will be in error. If I hear the Truth, I will believe the Truth, and grow in grace and the knowledge of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God does not speak apart from the Truth.
