"The LORD our righteousness," CHRIST JESUS Saves All His People

"Awake, O sword, against M y shepherd, and against the man that is M y fellow, saith the L ORD of hosts." -Zechariah 13:7 [KJV] Would we see, feel, and realise the exceeding sinfulness of sin, it is not by viewing the lightnings and hearing the thunders of Sinai's fiery top, but in seeing the agony and bloody sweat, and hearing the groans and cries of the suffering Son of God, as made sin for us, in the garden and upon the cross. God's Abounding Love for His People in Christ JESUS

God’s love for us is in Christ; God’s choice of us is in Christ; God’s righteousness is fulfilled for us in Christ; God’s acceptance of us is in Christ. This is all our salvation – not our works, feelings, nor our righteousnesses. A Closer Walk With God

"O For a Closer Walk With God A calm and heavenly frame A light to shine upon the road That leads me to the Lamb Where is the blessedness I knew When I first saw the Lord? Where is that soul-refreshing view Of Jesus and His word? What peaceful hours I once enjoyed! How sweet their memory still! But they have left an aching void The world can never fill Return, O holy Dove! return Sweet messenger of rest! I hate the sins that made Thee mourn And drove Thee from my breast The dearest idol I have known Whate'er that idol be Help me tear it from Thy throne And worship only Thee So shall my walk be close with God Calm and serene my frame So purer light shall mark the road That leads me to the Lamb." -Wm.
