"Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus." -H EBREWS 6:20 [KJV] How blessedly did the Lord comfort His sorrowing disciples when He said to them, "In M y Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." He is gone to take possession beforehand of His and their everlasting home; for He is ascended to His Father and their Father, to His God and their God. He has, as it were, filled heaven with new beauty, new happiness, new glory. In Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. His glorious Person as Immanuel is become the object of heaven's praise and adoration.   The elect angels, whom He has confirmed in their standing, adore Him as God-man; and the spirits of just men made perfect worship Him in company with the angelic host. What a view had holy John of heaven's glorious worship, when he saw the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fall down b...

Shout From The Top of The Mountains

"Let the inhabitants of the Rock sing" -ISAIAH 42:11 [KJV] The Lord Jesus Christ is the Rock in Whom the believer dwells. We behold the glory of God in Christ the Rock [EXODUS 33: 18-22; 34: 5-8; II C ORINTHIANS 4:6 ] . Christ is our one foundation in Whom we shall never be moved [ I SAIAH 28:16; I CORINTHIANS 3:11; M ATTHEW 7:24-27 ] . As we travel through this wilderness we drink of Christ the smitten Rock [ E XODUS 17:6; I C ORINTHIANS 10: 4; J OHN 4:10; I SAIAH 43:20 ] . Christ is the Rock which brethren use to hold up one another's weary hands [ E XODUS 17:12-13 ] . CHRIST IS THE ROCK OF SANCTUARY in W hom we abide and are protected as God's judgment rolls over the rest of this world [ I SAIAH 26:20; I SAIAH 8:9-14 ] . Oh, let the inhabitants of the Rock sing! - Gospel report by preacher Clay Curtis

Encouragement in our LORD JESUS

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." - ROMANS 15:13 [KJV] Is there any joy and peace for us as the children of God in the world? There are moments of joy and moments of peace in this world, but the reality of earthly joys and peace is this THEY WILL NOT LAST. They are only for a moment. But the joy and peace that comes in believing through the power of the Holy Ghost is that which comes from a true saving view of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. This is joy and peace that will last forever and ever as Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. While on this earth, it is most difficult for any of us to know that such joy and peace really exist. That is why it can only be known in believing. So we who are saved by God's grace in Christ walk by faith, believing God's testimony of Christ, not by sight. - Gospel report by preacher Bill Parker ...
