GOOD NEWS Report!

Weekend Gospel message to follow for All Hands (01-03MAY20) Heads-Up --- Please find enclosed encouragement in SO GREAT SALVATION by the perfect and finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy and wretched sinners by His sovereign free grace - God's unmerited favor - from our sins and from Hell: "I HAVE FOUND A RANSOM." -JOB 33:24 [KJV] "Then He is gracious unto him, and saith, DELIVER HIM (let the sinner be rescued) FROM GOING DOWN TO THE PIT (of everlasting destruction) : I HAVE FOUND (devised and secured) A RANSOM (propitiation, satisfaction) ." The ransom the Father found was none other than His only begotten Son. He found our Surety before the world was made and appointed Him not only to be the Redeemer of His elect people, but the price of redemption as well. Behold Him sent forth by the Father in marvelous grace and given as the ransom for the deliverance of chosen sinners from the claims of the law in His

CALLING UPON THE LORD JESUS

"I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you ." -L UKE 11:9 [KJV]   Wherever there is true prayer, there is importunity. Wherever the Lord brings trials upon the soul, He pours out upon it the spirit of grace and supplications. He thus encourages and enables the soul to be importunate with Him. And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and He shall speak peace unto the heathen: and His dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. As for Thee also, by the blood of Thy covenant I have sent forth Thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water." -ZECHARIAH 9:9-11 [KJV]   God gave to His prophet the very exact description of our Lord Jesus Christ as He entered into Jerusalem to accomplish our salvation, 550 years before it actually happen (Matthew 21:1-11). Zechariah not only describes for us the circumstances how Christ would come but also gives us a very vivid description of Who this is. Notice these things! 1). Jesus Christ is the King of
