To the LORD JESUS' wounded saints
There has been a winnowing, a fire applied, the loss of all things held dear in the heart, bitter disappointments, a heart and soul crushing. A sorrow that goes beyond words. Many of God's children are brought to utter despair. They see the propriety of the wicked and wonder if they are even sons and daughters of the Most High God. God seems to have turned His back. But He has not forgotten you, nor forsaken you. What you lose in this life, for the sake of Christ (and all things ultimately are for His sake) you will be repaid 100 fold in the life to come. I honestly believe that those true children, most wounded in this life, will shine the brightest in the next. Don't despair, The Lord Himself will arise with healing in His wings.
