"In the light of the King's countenance is life; and His favour is as a cloud of the latter rain." - PROVERBS 16:15 [KJV] What is religion without a living faith in, and a living love to the Lord Jesus Christ? How dull and dragging, how dry and heavy, what a burden to the mind, and a weariness to the flesh, is a round of forms where the heart is not engaged and the affections not drawn forth! Reading, hearing, praying, meditation, conversation with the saints of God, what cold, what heartless work where Jesus is not! But let Him appear, let His presence and grace be felt, and His blessed Spirit move upon the heart, then there is a holy sweetness, a sacred blessedness in the worship of God and in communion with the Lord Jesus that makes, whilst it lasts, a little heaven on earth. It is this inward sense of the blessedness of His presence and the misery of His absence, the heaven of His smile and the hell of His frown, that makes the sheep of Christ seek co

Hosanna to His Holy Name

Now to the Lord a noble song! Awake, my soul; awake, my tongue! Hosanna to His Holy Name, And all His boundless love proclaim. His glory shines in Jesus’ face, The brightest image of His grace! God, in the person of His Son, Has all His greatest works outdone. The spacious earth and spreading flood proclaim the wise, the mighty God; and His rich glories from afar sparkle in every rolling star. But in our Lord a glory stands, The noblest labor of His hands; the love and mercy in HIS eyes outshines the wonders of the skies! Grace! ‘tis a sweet, a charming theme; My thoughts rejoice at Jesus’ name: Ye angels dwell upon the sound, Ye heavens reflect it to the ground! -words by preacher Isaac Watts (1674–1748 A.D.)

The Two-Fold Message of Grace

The most humbling and challenging thing that I face – the great concern of my heart – is that my generation experience a return to the preaching of the gospel of God’s grace . This generation is plagued with a gospel of works and are strangers to the gospel of redemption. I want a return to the message used of God in other days to awaken men to their need and to reveal the grace and glory of the Lord Jesus. Rolfe Barnard used to say, “The two-fold message of grace is: (1) A ll flesh is grass and (2) B ehold your God! ” This is the message that takes away all of the glory and dignity of the flesh and proclaims the redemptive glory of Christ. The results of this message will be a sense of the awesome holiness of God, the inability and sinfulness of the flesh, and the total sufficiency of the person and work of Christ . -Gospel report by preacher Henry T. Threefold Witness of The TRUE GOSPEL

"At the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established." -Deuteronomy 19:15 [KJV] This is the rule of law laid down in Holy Scripture, that for something to be counted as fact and not fiction it must be established on the principal of two or three witnesses. This is exactly the method that Peter employs in His inspired letter given to believers [II PETER 1:16-21 ] . Peter says, "we have not followed cunningly devised fables" [ vs.16 ] . Then he proceeds to give us a threefold witness of the true gospel of God's grace, to prove that the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is fact not fiction. 1). The witness of the Apostles, "…but were eyewitnesses of His majesty" [II PETER 1:16 ] . Peter and the other Apostles clearly witnessed the power, coming and majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ. All of the Apostles of the past declared, "the power of the Lord Jesus Christ." He is Almighty God,
