Friends, our Lord Jesus Christ is Salvation

All spiritual blessings that sovereign, gracious God has for sinners IN our Lord Jesus Christ, BY the merits and blood of our Lord, and FOR the glory of our Redeemer. Simply put, CHRIST IS SALVATION! It is Christ, not the cross, W ho saves. It is Christ, not the church, W ho justifies. It is Christ, not my faith, nor my confession, nor my profession, W ho unites me to God. It is the Master, not the mother, W ho is our Mediator. It is His blood that cleanses, His obedience that sanctifies, His love that will not let me go, His faithfulness ( not mine ) constant and steadfast, and His promise, spoken to Peter but true of every believer, "I HAVE PRAYED FOR YOU." - Gospel report by preacher Henry Mahan Please find enclosed link to audio Gospel reports: https://www.sermonaudio.com/search.asp?speakeronly=true&currsection=sermonsspeaker&keyword=Henry_Mahan

RECONCILED!

“ And all things are of God, W ho has reconciled us to H imself by Jesus Christ, and ha th given to us the ministry of reconciliation” -see II CORINTHIANS 5:18-21 [KJV] Sometimes people say that Jesus came into the world to reconcile the Father to us, but that´s nonsense! It is not God who needs to be reconciled to man, instead, it’s the reverse, man needs to be reconciled to God . God has never changed. He was in the beginning what He is today. He has no need to apologize. It is man, on the other hand, who changed; it was and is man who sinned and sins. Man needs to be reconciled. People need to be brought back to God. For reconciliation, to take place, sin had to be wiped away. Which brings us to Jesus. Jesus was a man of prayer, but His prayers could not wipe away our sins. Jesus was a man of compassion, but the combination of His tears and empathy could not blot out the least of our sins. Pure and holy as He was, His presence could not take away our sins. To rem

The Forgiveness of Sins

"In W hom we have redemption through H is blood, even the forgiveness of sins." -C OLOSSIANS 1:14 [KJV]   Of all spiritual blessings made known to the soul by the power of God "a knowledge of salvation by the remission of sins" is the hardest to be obtained, and most prized when got. How many poor tried, exercised, distressed souls are at this very moment sighing and crying for the manifestation of this one blessing. These well know, and some of them by the painful experience of many years' hard bondage and travail, how hard it is to get forgiveness sealed on their heart. Not that it is really hard on the part of God now to forgive, that is, in experimental manifestation; for it is already done to and for all the elect of God: "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath H e quickened together with H im, having forgiven you all trespasses" [COLOSSIANS 2:13 ] ; and again, "In W hom we have" (
