Is My Hope a Good Hope?

1. My hope is a good hope if my hope is based on the Word of God alone [ROMANS 15:4 ] ! 2. My hope is a good hope if my hope rests entirely on Jesus Christ living for me and in me [COLOSSIANS 1:27 ] ! 3. My hope is a good hope which gives me joy, peace, and rest in trusting and leaning on Christ [ROMANS 15:13 ] ! 4. My hope is a good hope which rests in faith and confidence regardless of circumstances [ROMANS 4:16-18 ] ! 5. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD

"There is something infinitely vast and glorious in the righteousness of God. When the deluge covered the earth, it covered the highest mountains. Looking down from above, not one mountain-top could be seen, but a vast world of waters - a vast plain reflecting the beams of the sun. So if you this day lie down under the righteousness of God, the mountains of your sins will not be seen, but only the vast, deep, glorious righteousness of your God and Savior . If you were to cast a stone into the deepest part of the ocean, it would be lost and swallowed up by the deep waves of ocean; so when a sinner is cast down under the righteousness of God, he is as it were lost and swallowed up in Christ."   -copied

Is He not the same Jesus now that He was on earth? He is exalted, it is true, to an inconceivable height of glory, so that when John saw Him, even as if in some measure veiled, he fell at his feet as dead. But He is the same Jesus now as when He was the man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as He wears the same human body, so He has the same tender, compassionate heart. All that He was upon earth as Jesus, He is in heaven still.
