"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost." -Jude 20 [KJV] By the words "most holy faith," we may understand chiefly the grand truths of the everlasting gospel which are revealed unto and embraced by faith. And they are called "our most holy faith," because they are imbued with all the holiness of God; and not only so, but as they are received into believing hearts, communicate sanctification, because they have a liberating, sanctifying efficacy. The words "build up" assume that there is a foundation laid. Christ is that foundation which God hath laid in Zion, a chief corner-stone, elect, precious; and where Christ is revealed to the soul by a divine power, a foundation is laid in the heart on which every subsequent truth is to be built up. The grand thing to be clear of in our own experience is, whether Christ has been laid as a foundation in our souls or not, and if He has, we have

Who Gets The Glory?

If you wish to know if the gospel you are hearing preached is the gospel of God, ask yourself this question, “Who gets the glory?” If you wish to know whether your religious experience is of the flesh or of the Lord, ask yourself the same thing, “Who gets the glory?” Also, examine all your gifts, works, and missionary efforts by the same rule, “Who gets the glory?” God will not share His glory! That which is of God, from God, and for God's glory will be blessed with His presence and power “that no flesh should glory in His presence. ... that, according as it is written, H e that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.” ( I CORINTHIANS 1:29, 31) . -Gospel report by preacher Henry Mahan Please find enclosed Audio Gospel Sermons here : https://www.sermonaudio.com/source_detail.asp?sourceid=mahan

What Does God Require of Us?

What does God require of us now? Some say He requires that you do the best can do. No! He requires that you do the best God can do. He requires that you love HIM with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. That means 100 percent. Some say that He “only” requires that you love your neighbor as yourself. Are you listening to what God requires? Now where does that leave you? This ought to shut our mouths. For we know we cannot render unto God what He requires. This is impossible with you and I. But, BLESS THE GOD OF HEAVEN IT IS POSSIBLE WITH THE LORD JESUS. He fulfilled all that the Father required and satisfied His holy justice perfectly for all who believe. God demands perfection in that He is perfect Himself, and He will not accept anything short of what He is. I must have a perfect Saviour. John the Baptist found the sacrifice when he cried, “Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.” Oh, may you and I be found in HIM, “The L ORD our Righte

Nothing Good To Say About You?

"And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil . And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so." -I K INGS 22:8 [KJV] I often feel like Micaiah must have felt with regards to what I must say to men and women. Like him, I have nothing good to say ABOUT them. Why? Because God says that there is none good, no not one. Nothing good can be said about those who by nature are like Ahab. There is no good news about man in himself. The good news is TO men, for men! The good news is the gospel of grace, the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a report of the only good Man, the Man Christ Jesus! People want to be told what to do but my message has to do with something that is already done , THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST . They want to be told "how" to live a righteous life but my message has to do with
