IS THE LORD'S HAND WAXED SHORT? Negative! Never!

"And the L ORD said unto Moses, Is the L ORD ' s hand waxed short? Thou shalt see now whether My word shall come to pass unto thee, or not." -Numbers 11:23 [KJV] Is it not an extraordinary thing in the history of Moses, that he, who had seen the miracles in Egypt, should stagger at God's promises to feed His people with a new supply in the wilderness? Had Moses forgotten the rock which gave water, or the daily supply of manna? But pause, my soul! look not at Moses; look at home. What wonders hath thy God wrought for thee! and yet what doubts, and fears, and questionings, are continually arising in thy mind. Is there a child of God on earth, more apt to reason with flesh and blood than thou art? And is there a child of God, that hath less reason so to do?   Dearest Lord! According to His Lovingkindness & Tender Mercies

"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Thy lovingkindness; according unto the multitude of Thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions." - Psalm 51:1 [KJV] This psalm is very suitable to the wants and feelings of every sensible sinner, for it is not necessary to have committed David's sin to have a measure of David's repentance and confessions, and of David's desires, breathings, and supplications. "Have mercy upon me, O God," he says, "according to Thy lovingkindness." To ask God to have mercy upon us is one of the first cries that a convinced sinner puts up to God. It was so with the publican in the temple; and where it is sincere, God will certainly hear it "according to His loving-kindness," for He is full of love and kindness to poor, mourning sinners.  How the psalmist also begs of the Lord to "blot out his transgressions according unto the multitude of His tender mercies."
