Are You Led by The Spirit?

"But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law." -G ALATIANS 5:18 [KJV] Many preachers and religious people in our day are saying they are "led by the Spirit." They use this as a reason for believing as they believe and doing as they do. But this one thing I know, the Spirit of God does not lead anyone contrary to the Word of God. What these people believe and do cannot be by the leadership of the Spirit of God because it is in direct opposition to the scriptures. Our Lord said of the Holy Spirit that He would send, "Howbeit when H e, the Spirit of truth, is come, H e will guide you into all truth: for H e shall not speak of H imself; but whatsoever H e shall hear, that shall H e speak: and H e will shew you things to come. He shall glorify M e: for H e shall receive of M ine, and shall shew it unto you" (J OHN 16:13-14) . The Holy Spirit leads men to Christ! Since He glorifies Christ, those He leads glorify Christ. Give Thanks Unto THE LORD!

“ Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.” - P HILIPPIANS 4:4 [KJV] I’m afraid that much of what passes for rejoicing in so-called churches today is not rejoicing “in the Lord” at all. There is rejoicing in entertainment, emotionalism, social events, self-righteous attainments, the boastings of religious reformations and experience, but there is not much true rejoicing in the Lord Jesus Christ as our ALL and IN ALL, as our only hope and ground of salvation, as the LORD our Righteousness. To truly “rejoice in the Lord” is to rejoice in His salvation, the salvation He worked out, provides and gives by His grace based on His finished work on the cross ( I S AMUEL 2:1; P SALM 9:2; 13:5; 20:1) . It is to rejoice in His mercy in not giving us what we have earned due to our sins (P SALM 31:7) ; for His mercy is only found IN CHRIST, the one true Mercy-seat. It is to rejoice in His name (P SALM 89:12) , which is His glory found in the Person and finished

The Free, Sovereign Grace of God!

"Those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified." -R OMANS 8:30 [KJV]   The justified sinner stands the closest to God of any created being in the universe. Nearer to the throne of the Eternal, he cannot stand. What marvelous love! Who will dare assert that salvation is not -from first to last- of free, sovereign grace! Let your eye pierce the veil which falls between earth and heaven. Behold that shining, worshiping being, standing so near to the throne of glory, bathed in the overpowering effulgence of its rays. Who is he? He was once a sinner upon earth, the vilest of his race, the dishonored of his generation, forsaken by man and abhorred of God. But Jesus met him, and divine love drew him, and sovereign grace rescued, pardoned, and saved him! And now washed from all his guilt by the blood, freed from all condemnation by the righteousness of Christ he stands before the throne
