Blessed be God forever!

"O F HIS OWN WILL begat H e us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of H is creatures." -J AMES 1:18 [KJV]   If we look at the work of the Spirit on the heart, we shall see how, in all His sacred dealings and gracious movements, He invariably employs truth as His grand instrument. Does He pierce and wound? It is by the truth; for the "sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God , " and that we know is " THE WORD OF TRUTH ." If He mercifully heal, if He kindly bless, it is still by means of truth; for the promise is, "Howbeit, when H e, the Spirit of truth is come, H e will guide you into all truth." And when He thus comes, it is as a Comforter, according to those gracious words, "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, H e shall testify of M e." In fact, if we look at the new man of grace that

Ark of Salvation - CHRIST JESUS Alone

"The LORD shut him in."   -G ENESIS 7:16 [KJV] Noah was shut in away from all the world by the hand of Divine love. The door of electing purpose interposes between us and the world which lieth in the wicked one. We are not of the world even as our Lord Jesus was not of the world. Into the sin, the gaiety, the pursuits of the multitude we cannot enter; we cannot play in the streets of Vanity Fair with the children of darkness, for our heavenly Father has shut us in. Noah was shut in with his God. "Come thou into the ark , " was the Lord's invitation, by which He clearly showed that He Himself intended to dwell in the ark with His servant and his family. Thus all the chosen dwell in God and God in them. Happy people to be enclosed in the same circle which contains God in the Trinity of His persons, Father, Son, and Spirit. Let us never be inattentive to that gracious call, "Come, M y people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy

JEHOVAH SHALOM!

“ Our salvation is so well contrived, so well concerted, that God may have mercy upon poor sinners, and be at peace with them, without any wrong to His truth and righteousness.” – Gospel report by preacher Matthew Henry (1662–1714 A.D.)

THE SINLESS SAVIOR

Much notice is taken in Scriptures of the innocency, holiness and righteousness of the Redeemer; that He was holy in His nature, harmless in His life; that He knew no sin, nor ever committed any; that He, the Just and Holy One, suffered for the unjust. A great emphasis is put upon this, that the price with which men are redeemed is the precious blood of Christ, "as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot" ( I P ETER 1:19) . For if He had had any sin in Him, He could not have been a redeemer from sin, nor His blood the price of redemption. And yet more than all this, it is necessary to make this price a full and adequate one. It must not be the blood of a mere creature, but of O ne that is God as well as man. And such is Christ. Therefore, Christ, Who is God, is said to purchase the church with His own blood (A CTS 20:28) . Being God and man in one person, this gave His blood a sufficient virtue to make such a purchase. And a peculiar emphasis is put upon
