God's Word - a Light unto our path

“ The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.” -P SALM 19:8 [KJV] As without a revelation of the doctrine of salvation we should not know how a sinner could be saved, and thus, could not glorify God by our faith; so without a revelation of the precept we should not know how to serve God, and thus, could not glorify H im by our obedience. Look at this point, believing child of God. You long to glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are H is ( I C ORINTHIANS 6:20) . You desire, whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever you do, to do all to the glory of God ( I CORINTHIANS 10:31) . There are times and seasons with you when you sigh and mourn over your barren, unprofitable heart and life, and earnestly long to think and speak and act to H is honour and glory who has done so much for you in providence and grace. At least, if you have no such desires you are no Christian, and are at the best b

Lord Jesus Christ - our Perfect Sacrifice!

“ Before we can worship God in peace of conscience and liberty of heart, we must know, upon authority of God's Word and by the power of God's Spirit, that the entire question of sin has been FOREVER SETTLED BY THE BLOOD OF A DIVINE SIN OFFERING . All of God's claims and all our necessities as ruined, guilty sinners have been forever answered. This gives us peace; and in the enjoyment of that peace, we worship God. We have a perfect Sacrifice, and a perfect conscience.” -Gospel report by preacher Scott Richardson Audio Gospel Sermons here: https://www.sermonaudio.com/search.asp?speakeronly=true&currsection=sermonsspeaker&keyword=Scott_Richardson

The Language of LIFE

THERE IS A WONDER IN THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL. Those who have been appointed to the task of preaching know that they face an amazing dilemma. As far as they know, no one is able to hear what they say with the ears of faith. They wait on the Spirit of God as they preach to spiritually dead men and women, all the while, directing their hearers to do the impossible! This would seem a most daunting job, one fraught with assured disappointment and a sense of futility, were it not for the language of life that is built into the Gospel. For the preacher there is hope in the words employed by the Scripture. The language itself speaks to LIFE! Though no one is privy to the inward workings of the Holy Spirit, nor can anyone see a person being given life through the Word, the preacher is yet told to use language that only the spiritually living can hear. To the dead sinner the command is "Come to Christ", "Believe on Christ", "Call on the Name of the Lord

Are You A Sinner in need of The Lord Jesus Christ?

“ If being a sinner is the qualification of those whom Christ came to save, no one is more qualified than me; the chief of sinners. If being poor and needy is the qualification of those whom Christ came to save, who is in more spiritual poverty and in need of mercy more than me? If it is true that God hath chosen the foolish, the weak, the base, and the things which are not, that no flesh should glory in His presence ; who has less reason to glory in themselves than me? Are you qualified?” -Gospel report by preacher Greg Elmquist

The Miracle of Salvation

“ THE LORD JESUS CHRIST performed many miracles while upon this earth. He cast out devils, healed lepers, gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf; He raised the dead. While these miracles certainly prove Him to be the Christ, they are also illustrations of how the Lord saves sinners. Every sinner the Lord saves, is all these things . . .possessed by a devil, a sinful leper, deaf, dumb, blind and dead in sin. SALVATION IS A MIRACLE OF GOD’S SOVEREIGN GRACE AND POWER . Nothing more or less can save a sinner but the power of Christ; the Word, the Truth and the gospel. May the Lord be pleased to perform a miracle today.” - copied

The Gospel is of Infinite Importance

“ Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.” -R OMANS 12:11 [KJV]   If this admonition were not necessary for us, He would not have given it. The word business is diligence. Do not become lazy in the effort you give in serving the Lord. Be fervent, white hot, boiling over in spirit, serving the Lord. To become slothful in our diligence and zeal can easily happen to any of us because of the sinful nature we all possess. But how evil! That way of being is contrary to “The love of Christ constraineth me.” I cannot think of anything more ugly than trying to fit the worship of Christ into life’s busy schedule. The Gospel, if true, is of infinite importance ; if false, is of no importance. But what it cannot be is moderately important. “Not slothful in business, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.” -Gospel report by preacher Todd Nibert of Lexington, Kentucky USA Audio Gospel Sermons and Contact Information here: https

No king but KING JESUS!

“ There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.   Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear H im, upon them that hope in H is mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.   Our soul waiteth for the LORD: He is our help and our shield . ” -PSALM 33:16-20 [KJV]
