Ten Things I Know about God’s People 1. We are an elect people, chosen unto salvation by God the Father before time had its beginning. "According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world" (Ephesians 1:4). 2. We are a redeemed people. "Ye were redeemed...with the precious blood of Christ" (1 Peter 1:18-19). By His death, Christ made satisfaction to divine justice for all the iniquities of His people. 3. We are a regenerated people. "And you hath He quickened who were dead in trespasses and in sins" (Ephesians 2:1). We were born from above by the power of the Holy Spirit. 4. We are a people brought to believe on the Name of the Son of God. " As many as were ordained to eternal life believed" (Acts 13:48). 5. We are a justified people. [1] The origin of our justification is the eternal, sovereign and unchanging grace of God. "...justified freely by His grace" (Romans 3:25). [2] The sole basi
