‘ For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. ’ -Romans 5.10 [KJV] Notice the verse did not say that God made reconciliation possible by the death of His Son but that they were reconciled . How our eyes sometimes seem to be anointed with eye-salve "to behold wondrous things out of God's law!"   (Psalm 119:18.)
