The Sovereign Grace of God!

Man’s entire apostasy and death in sin, so that he cannot save himself; and God’s entire supremacy, so that He saves whom He will; are doctrines exceedingly distasteful to human pride. But they are Scriptural? Why was one thief saved and the other lost?   “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in Thy sight. All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him ” [MATTHEW 11:25-27 ] . “ Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in Thy sight .” God was not bound to save the one thief, and He had power enough to have saved the other thief, and neither thief could save himself. What made the difference? The Sovereign Grace of God! “ For who maketh thee to differ

What does God Require of Us?

What does God require of us now? Some say He requires that you do the best can do. No! He requires that you do the best God can do. He requires that you love HIM with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. That means 100 percent. Some say that He o nly requires that you love your neighbor as yourself. Are you listening to what God requires? Now where does that leave you? This ought to shut our mouths. For we know WE CANNOT render unto God what He requires. This is impossible with you and I. But, bless the God of Heaven, IT IS POSSIBLE WITH THE LORD JESUS. He fulfilled all that the Father required and satisfied His holy justice perfectly for all who believe. God demands perfection in that He is perfect Himself, and He will not accept anything short of what He is. I must have a perfect Savior. John the Baptist found the sacrifice when He cried, “ Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world .” Oh, may you and I be found in HIM, The L ORD our Ri

Teach me Thy Way, O LORD!

"And when they were alone, H e expounded all things to H is disciples .” - M ARK 4:34 [KJV] What is the exact meaning of the word disciple? It means properly a learner, one who is under a teacher, whose submissive and devoted pupil he has become, and from whom he receives continual instruction. And thus a disciple of Christ is one who is admitted by the Lord Jesus into His school, whom He Himself condescends personally to instruct, and who therefore learns of Him to be meek and lowly of heart. A disciple of Jesus is one who sits meekly at the Redeemer's feet, receiving into his heart the gracious words which fall from His lips. This was Mary's happy posture, whom the Lord commended for choosing the better part. Such is also the posture of all the saints of God, according to the ancient declaration, "Yea, H e loved the people; all H is saints are in T hy hand; and they sat down at T hy feet, every one shall receive of T hy words" [DEUTERONOMY
