Made Willing in the Day of God's Power
Sovereign grace o’re sin abounding
Ransomed souls, the tidings swell
’Tis a deep that knows no sounding
Who its breadth or length can tell?
Heirs of God, joint-heirs with Jesus
Long ere time its race begun
To His Name eternal praise
O what wonders love hath done!
Who from Christ our souls can sever
Bound by everlasting bands
Once in Him, in Him forever
None can pluck us from His hands.
O such love, my soul, still ponder
Love so great, so rich, so free
Say, while lost in holy wonder
Why, O Lord, such love to me?

WILLING
“Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power.” -Psalm 110:3 [KJV]
Those that are described as,“Thy people” are people who are willing. While it is true they have been drafted into the Kingdom of Heaven, it is equally true, because of God’s power, they are willing! They are volunteers. They are spontaneously willing to be saved by Christ, they are willing to believe all God says to believe and do all God says to do.
They all say with Paul, “To will is present with me.” While we do not believe in the corrupt teaching that speaks of man’s will being free, we equally do not believe the will is not involved. In the day of His power, we are willing! We do what we do voluntarily, and we are willing to do His will! This is what every believer wants to do!
