Do You Believe God?
How rich the depths of love Divine
Of bliss a boundless store
Dear Saviour let me call Thee mine
I could not wish for more – I could not wish for more!
On Thee alone my hope relies
Beneath Thy cross I fall
My Lord, my life, my sacrifice
My Saviour and my All – My Saviour and my All!
How great Thy wisdom, power and grace
That in redemption shines
The heavenly hosts with joy confess
The work is all Divine – The work is all Divine!
Before His face they cast their crowns
Those crowns which Jesus gave
And with ten thousand, thousand tongues
Proclaim His power to save – Proclaim His power to save!

I BELIEVE GOD, DO YOU?
“For I believe God, that it shall be
even as it was told me.” -Acts 27:25 [KJV]
Do you believe God? I am not asking if you believe in God. I am not asking if you believe there is a God. My question is, “Do you believe God?” Do you believe what God says in the Bible about Himself, about His Son, about you, about everything? Do you believe God?
In Acts chapter 27, we find Paul on a ship when a horrific storm arose. The ship was about to be lost. The men on that ship wanted to jump off. They felt they stood a better chance surviving in the sea than on the ship. Paul said to those men, “Sirs, be of good cheer, there stood by me this night, the angel of the Lord, whose I am and whom I serve. He said to me, Paul, not one person will be lost.” Paul’s argument for staying aboard the ship was not, “Sirs, I believe there is a God,” or “Sirs, I believe in God.” Paul said, “Sirs, I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Do you see the difference? This is true faith’s confession! “I believe God!” Do you believe God?
