COMPLETE IN CHRIST

“ Ye Are Complete in Him” - COLOSSIANS 2:10 [KJV] The believer’s standing in Christ does not fluctuate with his feelings, not even the increase or decrease of his faith or understanding or anything else. He stands complete in Christ. God would never trust any of His children to stand before Him at any time in their own selves - that is, in their merits or certain good frames of mind. He knows our frame. He remembers that we are yet dust. Therefore, He has on purpose provided for them this perfect standing in Christ Jesus. “Ye are complete in Him,” the Holy Ghost said. The very nature of our God requires us to be perfect and complete before Him at all times. He, out of necessity, therefore, provided all this for His children: a perfection, a completeness, which can never be diminished. It is as unchanging as God Himself [HEBREWS 6:17; 13:8 ] . Every true believer may walk through this world in perfect liberty, free from anything and everything - yes, even his ...

The Lord God Almighty's Grand Design

THE GRAND DESIGN of the Heavenly Father in creation, providence, and salvation is to have a new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness, populated by a holy people out of all nations, perfectly conformed to the likeness of His Son. This work He gave to our Lord Jesus in the eternal council and covenant to accomplish, to perfect, and to deliver to Him at the end. And “He shall not fail nor be discouraged ‘til it is done’.” - Gospel report by preacher Henry T. Strengthen us, O LORD JESUS

"Watch and pray." -M ARK 13:33 [KJV] There is no keeping up faith except by  prayer and watchfulness.  As prayer declines in the bosom, so does the strength of faith. You may go on neglecting prayer and supplication until every grain of faith seems lost out of your bosom, and may come at last to think you never knew anything of a work of God upon your heart, and have been deceived in believing there was any grace there. By watchfulness also is the love of God maintained. Unless you watch against your besetting sins, against the snares spread for your feet, against the temptations that daily and hourly beset your path, against being overcome by the strength or subtlety of your unwearied foe, you are sure to fall; and if you fall you will bring guilt and bondage, darkness and distress into your mind, and cut off for a time all friendly intercourse with God. Therefore you must pray and watch; for without watchfulness, prayer is of little efficacy. And if...

God's Salvation!

The whole scheme of works salvation is totally dependent upon man and looks inward for all hope, happiness, help, and holiness; making man the principle object of worship, preeminence and glory. But, the whole scheme of God’s salvation is dependent upon Jesus Christ, the appointed Mediator and Substitute for sinners. This scheme of salvation looks God-ward for all hope, happiness, help, and holiness; making Jesus Christ the principle object of all worship, preeminence and glory. “God forbid that I should glory save in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ.” The grand design of God’s salvation is the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ [JOHN 17:4-5 ] . -Gospel report by preacher Bill Parker Eager Avenue Grace church of Albany, Georgia USA Please find enclosed link to audio Gospel sermons & Contact Info: https://www.sermonaudio.com/source_detail.asp?sourceid=reignofgrace

JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS!

"We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." - I JOHN 2:1 [KJV] This advocacy is here called, as elsewhere, "pleading the cause" of the believer, and is connected with deliverance, for such an advocate can never fail: "O Lord, T hou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; T hou hast redeemed my life" [LAMENTATIONS 3:58 ] . The figure is taken from a lawyer pleading the cause of a criminal, and using his best endeavours to bring him off uninjured. But such advocacy may fail for two reasons: 1 . the incompetency of the advocate; or 2 . the badness of the cause. But there are no such hindrances to the success of the advocacy of Christ.   How H e can plead H is own sufferings, blood, and obedience. His very Person as the Son of God, and yet son of man, gives unspeakable value and validity to every plea of the great Intercessor. What validity, then, has H is intercession in the court of heaven! It is true that H e cannot de...

GOOD NEWS!

Weekend Gospel message to follow for All Hands (10-12JAN20) Heads-Up --- Please find enclosed encouragement in SO GREAT SALVATION by the perfect and finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy and wretched sinners by His sovereign free grace - God's unmerited favor - from their sins and from Hell: "Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities" -PSALM 103:2 [KJV] Every time I read this Psalm, I must stop in wonder at the very first of God's benefits mentioned, "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities." There are many blessings mentioned afterward, but none can rival the glory and sheer wonder of this first one. That He should be willing to forgive my "smaller offenses" is a wonder; or that He should be willing to forgive an offense once or twice. But that He would, yea, does forgive all my iniquities each and every time they appear is more than this poor sinner can grasp....

God's Word Shall Endure

"All Thy commandments are faithful...help Thou me." -P SALM 119:86 [KJV] God’s Word is all true; the longer we test and try it, the more shall we find it to be worthy of our fullest confidence. Those who doubt its truth have never really proved its power. Those who mistrust it, in any degree, are as yet like inexperienced mariners who are constantly doubting and fearing what is going to happen; but those who have long done business on the great waters of the ocean of divine inspiration, and who have seen the wonders of the Lord there, will tell you that, though heaven and earth shall pass away, God’s Word shall endure forever. We have seen a thousand things in the course of our earthly pilgrimage, but there is one thing that we have never seen, and we never shall see , namely, God proving unfaithful to His promises and deserting His people in their time of need. - Gospel report by preacher Jim Byrd Thirteenth Street Baptist church of Ashland, Kentuc...
