Gospel Mysteries Hidden & Revealed  Salvation Is Hidden in Christ

What are the mysteries of the Gospel, and why did Jesus say that God has hidden these things from the wise and prudent but revealed them unto babes? In this powerful sermon from Matthew 11:25, we explore the profound truth that the mysteries of salvation, eternal life, forgiveness, grace, and the knowledge of God are found in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus Christ came into the world to seek and save the lost, yet He was rejected by the religious leaders, the powerful, the wealthy, and the worldly wise. Why? Because the natural man cannot understand the things of God without divine revelation. 

This message examines five important questions: 1. What are the “things” hidden from the wise? 2. Where are these things hidden? 3. From whom are they hidden? 4. How is the knowledge of these things obtained? 5. To whom are these things revealed? The sermon explores vital Gospel truths including:

The central message is simple and powerful: salvation is found in Christ—not in human wisdom, religion, ceremonies, good works, or human righteousness. Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” The mysteries of the Gospel are revealed to those who come humbly to Christ as little children—recognizing their need, their spiritual poverty, and their dependence upon God. Look to Christ. Come to Christ. Trust Christ. Salvation is in Him.

Great Encouragement in Christ JESUS ~ 19 October, 2025 A.D.

"Behold, he prayeth!"   -Acts 9:11 [KJV] In many trades, it is customary to shew samples or patterns. By these men judge of the goodness or quality of the whole. St. Paul sets himself forth as a sample, or pattern, of the free, distinguishing, sovereign, unmerited grace of God, that we should judge of its nature by its efficacy upon him. “I obtained mercy, for this cause, that in me first   (-a first rate sinner) Jesus Christ may shew forth His all long suffering, for a pattern to them who should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting”   (I Timothy 1:16.) Thou hast seen this pattern of free grace. What dost thou think of it?  The whole is alike with the pattern. It cometh alike upon elect sinners. "...be not conformed to this world." -Romans 12:2 [KJV] In proportion as we are conformed to the spirit of this world our understanding becomes dull in the things of God, our affections cold and torpid, and our consciences less tender and sensitive.
