Great Encouragement in Christ JESUS ~ 18 June, 2026 A.D.

 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” -Hebrews 11:6 [KJV] 

To seek, to know, and to worship God rightfully is to seek, know, and worship Him by God-given faith as He reveals Himself in the glorious Person and finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is through Christ that God reveals Himself AS HE IS as opposed to what unbelieving sinners think of Him. It is through Christ that sinners approach God and find the reward that Christ Himself earned for them by His righteousness, the merits of His obedience unto death. 

Without this faith that looks to and rests solely in Christ as the Author and Finisher of our faith and as the only way of salvation, it is utterly impossible for sinners to please God Who is holy and righteous and Who must condemn all sinners to whom sin is charged. All who are saved by grace, evidenced by God-given faith in Christ, have no sins charged to them as their sins were charged to Christ Who put them away by His bloody death on the cross. 

Christ is their Surety, Substitute, Redeemer, and Intercessor, and He is pleasing unto His heavenly Father – “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17).

"Behold, he prayeth!"   -Acts 9:11 [KJV] In many trades, it is customary to shew samples or patterns. By these men judge of the goodness or quality of the whole. Light Rising in the Darkness: Take Heart, friends...

"Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness." -Psalm 112:4 [KJV] We often get into such dark paths, that we seem altogether out of the secret, and feel as if there were no more grace in our souls, than in one altogether dead in trespasses and sins. THE GREAT TRUMPET BLAST ~ The Joyful Sound!

"The great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come, who were ready to perish." -Isaiah 27:13 [KJV] One trumpet has been blown, at the giving of the law, on mount Sinai: the voice of it sounded long, and waxed louder and louder. It made even Moses to fear and quake exceedingly, and all the people tremble. Soon, very soon, (who knows but it may be the next moment, in the twinkling of an eye?) the last trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised (I Corinthians 15:52.)   Tremendous voice! most solemn sound! The prophet asks, “Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid?” (Amos. 3:6.) If the alarm of war, and the approach of an enemy should be sounded in the dead of the night, what fear and terror would seize us!
