Great Encouragement in Christ JESUS ~ 11 June, 2026 A.D.

    “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.  In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” -Jeremiah 23:5-6 [KJV]

PRAISE TO THE LORD!

Tune to “THE DOXOLOGY” LM Words by Jim Byrd

Praise God the Father, God the Son,

And God the Spirit, Three in One;

Let every creature join to sing,

Eternal praises to the King.

Before creation, God in grace,

Blessed us in Christ, a chosen race;

Rejoice in heart and lift your voice,

Praise God ye people of His choice.

In time the Father sent His Son,

Jesus the perfect, sinless One;

The Substitute, upon the cross,

Saved us from everlasting loss.

Called by the Spirit through the Word,

We bless the mighty grace of God;

Praise God the Father, God the Son,

And God the Spirit, Three in One.

NO BLEMISH

When Christ was born into this world, He was circumcised the eighth day which meant He was obligated to do the whole law.  “For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law” (Galatians 5:3).  The eye of justice was never off of Him for a moment; His life was closely scrutinized by the Father and found to be in exact conformity to the demands of God.  His perfect keeping of the law proved His qualification to be the Substitute and Sacrifice for the sins of His people.  It is written, “It (the sacrifice) shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein” (Leviticus 22:21).

Having evidenced by His life of exact obedience to the Father that He was without any sin (no blemish!), the Son of Man suffered, bled and died upon the cross as our Savior.  The qualified Redeemer finished the work of satisfying divine justice and saving His people from our sins.  He boldly declared in His dying breath “It is finished, and bowed His head and gave up the ghost.  Redemption was accomplished and the sins of all for whom He died were forgiven forever.
