Great Encouragement in Christ JESUS ~ 01 May, 2026 A.D.

COME WORSHIP CHRIST OUR KING

O let us render glory to

Our ever-living King;

Proclaim the beauty of His name,

Of Jesus let us sing.

Our Sure-ty represented us

In old eternity.

The Father gave us to His Son,

In covenant decree.

In time Christ Jesus came and lived

A life of righteousness;

He walked before the law of God,

In perfect holiness.

When crucified on Calvary,

“‘Tis finished,” Jesus cried;

And when He bowed His head and died,

Justice was satisfied.

Now Jesus sits upon His throne,

For us to intercede;

Our wondrous Savior ever lives,

To meet our ev’ry need.

ELECTION WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED

     Every sinner chosen to salvation has been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ, will be confronted with the gospel of redeeming grace, and will be regenerated and effectually called to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  Abram was an idolater, but, being one of God’s elect, he was sought out and found in Ur of the Chaldees.  Rahab was a harlot, but before her city could be destroyed, she must be rescued from the destruction which was to come.

The Lord of glory found Zacchaeus up a tree in the accursed city of Jericho.  The dying thief was a convicted felon, just a breath away from eternity, yet at the appointed time the sovereign Savior revealed Himself to his heart.  Saul of Tarsus was called out of self-righteous Pharisaism.  Dionysius and Damaris were delivered from the heathenism of Athens.

No matter what dunghill God’s elect are in, sovereign grace will seek them out, wash them in the pardoning blood of Christ, robe them in His justifying righteousness and bring them all safely home to God.  Divine election shall not be disappointed.
