Almighty God's Works for His people


1. Foreknowledge: Before the world was made, God knew His people intimately like none other will ever know them, and as belonging to Himself and none other.

2. Election: Before the world was made, God chose in Christ all whom He foreknew to be saved and to be holy and blameless before Him in love.

3. Predestination: Before the world was made, God foreordained His elect to be His adopted sons by Jesus Christ and to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

4. Redemption: Jesus Christ through His shed blood paid the ransom for God’s predestined elect that delivered us from all our sins and obtained for us the forgiveness of our sins.

5. Salvation: Jesus Christ delivered us from all our sins and all their effects.

6. Calling: God calls His predestined people to salvation through the preaching of the gospel.

7. Regeneration: God quickens His spiritually dead people, giving to them eternal life.

8. Justification: God declares the called to be righteous through the imputation of Jesus Christ’s righteousness to them.

9. Sanctification: Jesus Christ through His shed blood separated us from the world and consecrated us to God and made us morally fit for service to Him.

10. Reconciliation: God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ removes from us our enmity against Him and restores us to a state of peace with Him.

11. Adoption: God in a legal manner brings into His family spiritual slaves who are not of His nature, giving to them all the rights and privileges of sonship, making them to be His heirs, resulting in them acknowledging Him as their Father.

12. Glorification: God at the resurrection on the last day will perfectly conform us in both body and soul to the glorious image of His glorified Son Jesus Christ, permanently freed from sin, sickness, and death, and made fit to enter God’s presence in heaven.

According to God's Good Pleasure...
