Rejoice ~ CHOSEN IN CHRIST JESUS!

Beloved of God let we who are the born-again blood washed saints of God marvel at the truth of the scriptures which proclaim that before the foundation of the world God chose a people in Christ.

Marvel at verse 4 of Ephesians chapter 1: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. 

 

What blessed truth is set before as before there was ever a sinner there was a Saviour the Word of God the second person of the trinity the blessed Lamb of God marvel that He is the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world: And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8.) 

 

Beloved of God note the security of every believer in Christ all by the electing grace of God we are secured in Christ our names are in the Lamb’s book of life therefore neither Satan, or demon can touch them.

 

But without this, all the world shall wonder after the beast, and all worship him. Reader! ponder well the account; and beg of God to give you a right understanding in all things.

 

Note how verse 4 of Ephesians 1 and verse 8 of Revelation 13 brings forth that election is eternal; it is not an act of time as it took place before the foundation of the world before time ever was!

 

God’s eternal election of a people in Christ is also not dependent upon anything done in time, neither is God’s election dependent upon anything we do or say, as those who are chosen in Christ have their names written in the book of life from before the foundation of the world before we ever were!

 

God’s election of a people in Christ is sure and certain it is unchangeable and irrevocable; and those whose names are written in the Lambs book of life are written in there according to the sovereign grace of God in eternity: John 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with Me hath lifted up his heel against Me. 

 

This book is called the Lamb's book; that Lamb being Christ as He is God’s Lamb provided and accepted as the only means of salvation for those whose names are written in the Lambs book and to have all their sins forgiven through His blood and righteousness!

 

The Word of God was there when this book was made and He has great love, everlasting love for those whose names are written in it so much that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us to save His people from their sins: John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 

 

Our election was made in Christ by the will of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit therefore it is sure as we were chosen in Christ and He is the author and giver of eternal life: Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 

 

Marvel that the Word of God became flesh, His name is the Lord Jesus Christ and He fully and completely saved His people from their sins by His blood being shed to ransom the souls of those who are written in the Lambs book of life!

 

Then He rose again and is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for us all according to the will and purpose of God and because of our election in Christ before the foundation of the world!

 

Blessed be God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for planning our salvation, executing our salvation by the death of Christ and applying this wonderful salvation wrought by Jesus Christ our Lord when we are born again by the Holy Spirit of God!

 

Praise be to God for His eternal electing grace in choosing a people in Christ before the foundation of the world that we would be in Christ a people before God, holy and without blame before Him in love!

LORD JESUS, Be Merciful...

Great Encouragement in Christ JESUS ~ 19 October, 2025 A.D.

"Behold, he prayeth!"   -Acts 9:11 [KJV] In many trades, it is customary to shew samples or patterns. By these men judge of the goodness or quality of the whole.
