THE LORD WILL PROVIDE! Rejoice greatly, friends...

Do you trust the Lord Jesus for the salvation of your soul?  Do you rest upon Him and His perfect obedience unto death for your salvation?  

Do you believe He will grant to you what He has promised to everyone who believes Him, everlasting salvation and a heavenly inheritance that will never fade away?  

By the grace of God and the witness of the Spirit, I trust you can answer “Yes I do” to these questions.  Well then, if you can rely upon Him for these great things, is it not reasonable to trust Him for the other things of this life, His constant presence and the daily necessities of life?  

 

Remember the words of Romans 8:32; “He that spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”  The Lord provides for the birds of the air and the beasts of the field; He even pours out daily supplies of temporal mercies upon those who despise and blaspheme His holy name.  Will He not, then, take care of His beloved people, His offspring, His redeemed ones?  

 

When we fret and worry about daily issues, we act as though our Father will neglect us.  How utterly foolish it is to doubt the tenderness, kindness and loving care of our covenant God!  “Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things” (Mark 6:32).  “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33).

JESUS - Rock of Ages

Jesus remains the same in all ages. He is the One who is constant when everything and everyone else fails. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever; the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is our R ock [I SAMUEL 2:2 ] . In the Old Testament, in Exodus 33, Jesus is pictured as the Cleft Rock. In that chapter, verse 18 and following, Moses desired to see the glory of the Lord, but was told, "You cannot see My face; for there shall no man see My face and live.” And the Lord said, “There is a place by Me, and you shalt stand upon a rock: and it shall come to pass, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by." GLORY ALONE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

" Lest Israel vaunt themselves against Me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me." -Judges 7:2 [KJV] Thus the Lord reasoned with Gideon. He knows what is in man.
