Weekend Gospel message to follow for All Hands (10-12APR20)

Heads-Up --- Please find enclosed encouragement in SO GREAT SALVATION by the perfect and finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy and wretched sinners by His sovereign free grace -God's unmerited favor- from our sins and from Hell:

“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty.” -GALATIANS 5:13 [KJV]

We have been called by God’s Sovereign Grace according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We have been called out of darkness into light (I Peter 2:9). We have been called through the Gospel, and by the preaching of the Gospel
(II Thessalonians 2:14). We are called to be sons, children of God (I John 3:1). Because of our calling we have liberty in Christ, Freedom in Christ! We are freed from the power of death, freed from the bondage and penalty of sin, and freed from the law. Now we have liberty to freely serve our brethren in love, and to freely serve our Lord in love!

We see the righteous judgment of God against sin and the mercy  of God revealed through Christ.  I want to share three lies about God I’ve recently seen tossed about on social media as truth by professed believers: (1) God can move in your life.......if you permit Him. (2) Christ can be Lord.......if you confess Him. (3) God can do anything ........except overcome a man’s will. Friends, if God doesn’t even have sovereignty over the human heart (without being granted permission, of course) who is serving who? Who really has all power in this universe?
