Golden Promises
“And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; EVEN I WILL CARRY, AND WILL DELIVER YOU” -Isaiah 46:4 [KJV]

Jehovah is always the same. Though we are aging and changing, yet our Lord remains the eternal, faithful, unchanging and unchangeable God. Let all who rest in Christ rejoice. The Lord’s love, care, protection, truth and promises shall never fail as the years go by. As our lives are spent, as the white hairs slowly accumulate in abundance, He will still bear us up, support us and carry us. He made us, not only physically, but He made us spiritually. He made us anew in Christ Jesus; He made us to be His children; He made us white in the blood of His Son; He made us to be the righteousness of God in Christ through His substitutionary death and resurrection. He will carry us and deliver us from sin, from Satan, from every enemy, from divine wrath and finally, from the grave.

We see the righteous judgment of God against sin and the mercy  of God revealed through Christ. God ordained Authority: Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate

The Lesser Magistrate Doctrine  teaches that when the superior or higher ranking civil authority makes unjust/immoral law, policy, or court opinion – the lower or lesser ranking civil authority has both the God-given right  and duty  to refuse obedience to that superior authority; and if necessary, actively resist the superior authority. The doctrine was first formalized by Christian men in Magdeburg, Germany in 1550.  The lesser magistrate doctrine is rooted in the historic Christian doctrine of interposition.  Interposition   is where one steps into the gap – placing themselves in between the oppressor and his intended victim. Interposition can take place verbally or physically.  The law of God is the objective standard to which all men and all governments of men are accountable.
