“ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have  turned every one to his own way; and the  LORD hath laid on HIM the iniquity of us  all.” -Isa iah 53:6 [KJV] We trust Christ our risen Savior who died on the cross to put away all our sins. All our sins, not one omitted, were laid upon Him, and He died under the justice of God’s law for us. He became accountable for ALL our sins (sins of omission and commission), all our evil deeds, thoughts, and motives, all our iniquities were “laid on Him.” When He died, did He put ALL our iniquity away, or did He leave part of it to be borne by us? Praise God, HE PUT IT ALL AWAY BY HIS ONE SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS! How can we know this for certain? HE IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD! My friends, when the Lord Jesus is truly seen, believed, and loved, there will be joy in the Lord with genuine peace of conscience. Yes, we are sinners; but Christ died for sinners! Yes, the law condemns; but Christ honored the law! Yes, justice has a claim; but Christ satisfied that claim! Yes, we are imperfect in faith, in commitment, in love; but "He know eth our frame; He remember eth that we are dust" and loves us all the same. We are in Him by HIS CHOICE, redeemed by HIS BLOOD, called by HIS SPIRIT, and kept by HIS POWER, through faith which HE GAVE US! When Moses had set up all the furnishings within the tabernacle and hung the curtain at the court gate, Exodus 40:33-35 says, "So Moses finished the work. " Moses, a mediator appointed by God for Himself and the people, pictured Christ and the work of redemption that He accomplished on the cross. There, as the real Lamb of God, He poured out His life's blood on the heavenly mercy seat and cried out for all to hear, "It is finished." It is His free, sovereign, and distinguishing grace alone which makes and manifests us to be His children, and therefore it demands of us, as a feeble and most insufficient tribute of grateful praise, that we should walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called, and glorify Him in our body and spirit which are His. He that has never known and felt this knows nothing of the riches of God's grace in the manifestation of mercy and love to his soul. Behold your God! “ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young ” (Isaiah 40:11). Pause a while and think of this verse. It gives us a wonderful picture of the Lord Jesus.  Let’s unfold some of its treasures word for word. ‘He’ Who is this ‘He’? He is the Messiah (Matthew 1:1). He is Immanuel; God with us (Matthew 1:23). He is God manifest in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16). He is the one Who is revealed in the Word of God under a vast array of titles, names, characters and offices.
