Daily Loaded with Benefits



"Blessed be the LORD, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah" [PSALM 68:19]. This verse has so much packed into it. The LORD is the one who daily loads us down with benefits. Think on some of them, each day we have air to breathe, loved ones to share our lives with, food and drink, homes to live in and bread to eat and wonderful pictures in nature to see. Most important is we have a God who is ever present and promises He will never leave you nor forsake you. This is great comfort for the believer! The believer’s sins are forgiven, not just his past sins, but his future sins as well. "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin" [ROMANS 4:8].

God ordained Authority: Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate

The Lesser Magistrate Doctrine  teaches that when the superior or higher ranking civil authority makes unjust/immoral law, policy, or court opinion – the lower or lesser ranking civil authority has both the God-given right  and duty  to refuse obedience to that superior authority; and if necessary, actively resist the superior authority. The doctrine was first formalized by Christian men in Magdeburg, Germany in 1550.  The lesser magistrate doctrine is rooted in the historic Christian doctrine of interposition.  Interposition   is where one steps into the gap – placing themselves in between the oppressor and his intended victim. Interposition can take place verbally or physically.  The law of God is the objective standard to which all men and all governments of men are accountable.
