The Fruit of the Holy Ghost

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” -Galatians 5:22-23 [KJV]

Notice the word is “fruit,” not fruits.  This fruit is not of nature, nor flesh, but is the result of the indwelling Spirit and that which is produced by Him. We can take no glory for any good or good works that are in us, for these are all by His grace. But this fruit, in various degrees according to our spiritual growth, is in every believer.

The kind of life produced by the presence of the Holy Spirit is GOODNESS as opposed to selfishness, RIGHTEOUSNESS as opposed to sinfulness, and TRUTH as opposed to deceit.  Where the Spirit of God dwells, these characteristics dwell.

THE GRACE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!

"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit." - Philemon vs. 25 [KJV] It is the regenerating breath of the Lord Jesus Christ which makes the soul alive unto Himself. This is manifest from His own language: "It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life" (John 6:63) . Then for the first time "the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit." For you will observe that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is not with our carnal mind: that ever remains the same, a body of sin and death, flesh, corrupt flesh, "in which dwelleth no good thing," and therefore not the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.   His grace is with our spirit, that "new man" of which we read that "it is after God, [that is, after the image of God] created in righteousness and true holiness." This is called our "spirit," because it is born of the Sp...

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes." -Psalm 118:8-9 [KJV] "Salvation is of the LORD." -Jonah 2:9c [KJV]    “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.” -David Rockefeller “There is a single theme behind all our work–we must reduce population levels. Either governments do it our way, through nice clean methods, or they will get the kinds of mess that we have in El Salvador, or in Iran or in Beirut. Population is a political problem. Once population is out of control, it requires authoritarian government, even fascism, to reduce it ….” “Our program in El Salvador didn’t work. The infrastructure was not there to support it. There were just too many people…. To really reduce population, quickly, you have to pull all the males into the fighting and you have to kill sig...

The Exceeding Riches of God's Grace in Christ JESUS

"That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace, in His kindness towards us through Christ Jesus." -Ephesians 2:7 [KJV] Pause, my soul, and gather in all the powers of arithmetic, and try if thou art able to count what the exceeding riches of God's grace amount to. Think how great, how free, how sovereign, how inexhaustible, how everlasting! All that a poor sinner hath in time, all that we can enjoy to all eternity, all is of grace. And what a title hath thy God chosen to be known by among His people, when, to make Himself known more fully in Jesus, He styles Himself "the God of all grace!" All grace? Yes, all grace, and all sorts and degrees of grace: pardoning grace, renewing grace, quickening grace, strengthening grace, comforting grace; in short, all grace.  And is all this treasured up in Jesus? Oh then, my soul, see that Jesus be thine, and all is thine. And mark this down as a sure unerring rule as grace hath no s...
