Another Political View

The population of many Christians can be described as, “AWAKE.” Note, I didn’t say WOKE but AWAKE. For them, awake means a conscious discernment in their belief that devious, political forces are trying to transform America, and pull apart the country, and reduce its exceptional nation status. Doubtless, the transformation shall leave many negatives. They include, but not limited to the following.

(a) The relocating of more American jobs to foreign soil.

(b) Americans will become more dependent upon foreign prescription drug supply chains.

(c) The transformation will widen the breach for security between local citizens and their police department. It will mean a merger of police with county social services.

What will it be like when family security depends on the new Social Service Police Department? Here’s an example.

Sheriff’s Office: “9-1-1, may I help you?”

Local Caller: “Sheriff, I have a burglar breaking into my house.” Sheriff’s Office: “Come to my office in the morning and fill out your complaint report in triplicate. Meantime, take 2- Extra Strength Tylenol.”

Some say President Trump stands in the gap against these powerful and political winds blowing across America.

It’s been reported that he’s the only President since Harry Truman to punch and counter-punch against the swamp-like politicians and their foreign lobby friends that support these ill-served initiatives.

Others call attention to his work ethics. He works 18-20-hours per day, without a salary to emulate the patriotism of U.S. Presidents JFK and Herbert Hoover that refused a salary.

Recently, someone said that President Trump is not likeable, saying he is uncouth, and that he is not sweet-talking like the pastor of the church.

Another responded, “But you’re not voting for a pastor. You’re voting for someone to be tough-as-nails, and that can get the job done. Besides, do you want another puppet President? Do you want another me too or empty suit President?”

Doubtless, we don’t need a President that speaks gibberish.

God ordained Authority: Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate

The Lesser Magistrate Doctrine  teaches that when the superior or higher ranking civil authority makes unjust/immoral law, policy, or court opinion – the lower or lesser ranking civil authority has both the God-given right  and duty  to refuse obedience to that superior authority; and if necessary, actively resist the superior authority. The doctrine was first formalized by Christian men in Magdeburg, Germany in 1550.  The lesser magistrate doctrine is rooted in the historic Christian doctrine of interposition.  Interposition   is where one steps into the gap – placing themselves in between the oppressor and his intended victim. Interposition can take place verbally or physically.  The law of God is the objective standard to which all men and all governments of men are accountable.
