NO OTHER SALVATION


"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." -ACTS 4:12 [KJV]
This was Peter's answer to those religious Jews who questioned him about the gospel message he preached in the temple.  He met these Pharisees at their point of rebellion. He plainly and boldly declared that there is salvation for sinners but only in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Consider what the scriptures teach us about salvation in, by and through the Lord Jesus Christ:

There is no other SAVIOUR but Jesus Christ to look to for salvation [ISAIAH 45:21-22; MATTHEW 11:25-28; JOHN 14:6].

There is no other SACRIFICE but Jesus Christ to cleanse and redeem us from all sin [HEBREWS 9:26; I PETER 1:18-20; I JOHN 1:7].

There is no other SUBSTITUTE but Jesus Christ to redeem and justify us from the curse of the Law [GALATIANS 3:13; II CORINTHIANS 5:21].

There is no other SERVANT but Jesus Christ to honor and establish righteousness for us [ISAIAH 42: 1-4; 21; MATTHEW 5:17; PHILIPPIANS 3:7-9; ROMANS 4:6].

There is no other SURETY but Jesus Christ to guarantee all the terms of the everlasting covenant of grace [HEBREWS 7:22; 9:12; 13:20].

There is no other SHEPHERD but Jesus Christ that can effectually justify and bring the lost sheep home [PSALM 23; JOHN 6: 37-39; 10:11; MATTHEW 1:21 ; I PETER 3:18].

There is no other SURE FOUNDATION but Jesus Christ where weary sinners can find safety, salvation and secure refuge [PSALM 46:1; ISAIAH 28:16; I CORINTHIANS 3:11; I PETER 2:6].

There is no other SCEPTRE but Jesus Christ to rule and reign for the good of the elect and the glory of God [ROMANS 8:28; ACTS 2:36; PHILIPPIANS 2:7-9].

There is no other SEED OF WOMAN but Jesus Christ to bruise the serpent's head and crush the dominion of evil [GENESIS 3:15; COLOSSIANS 2:15; HEBREWS 2:14-17].

The message of scripture is clear; the Lord Jesus Christ is all in Salvation!

JESUS - Rock of Ages

Jesus remains the same in all ages. He is the One who is constant when everything and everyone else fails. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever; the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is our R ock [I SAMUEL 2:2 ] . In the Old Testament, in Exodus 33, Jesus is pictured as the Cleft Rock. In that chapter, verse 18 and following, Moses desired to see the glory of the Lord, but was told, "You cannot see My face; for there shall no man see My face and live.” And the Lord said, “There is a place by Me, and you shalt stand upon a rock: and it shall come to pass, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by." CHRIST OUR ONLY AND PERFECT RIGHTEOUSNESS

" The flesh lusteth against the Spirit." —Galatians 5:17 [KJV] Christian experience fully proves this apostolic truth.
