All true believers have the assurance of resurrection from the dead and eternal life in glory with Christ. What is that assurance? It is the Word of God that says, “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by Man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (I Corinthians 15:20-22).  As the Lord Jesus Christ has taken our sins to the cross and died in our place, fully satisfying the justice of God as our Surety, Substitute, and Redeemer, AND as He is risen again because of our justification, He is the assurance of every person for whom He died and arose from the dead. Christ Himself said, “And this is the Father's will which hath sent Me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day” (John 6:39) .
