Assurance in Christ

Brethren, true godly assurance of salvation comes NOT by looking within ourselves to see if we have done enough or have grown enough, nor even to determine if we are sincere enough. True godly assurance of salvation comes by God-given faith that causes us to look only to Christ crucified and risen from the dead and to Christ as our Great High Priest Who ever lives to make intercession for us and Who keeps us by His grace and power . Consider – In Christ , and by God-given faith in Him, we are assured in God’s Word that no sin can be charged to us, and we are righteous in God’s sight based on Christ’s righteousness imputed to us (R OMANS 4:6-8; 8:33-34) . In Christ , and by God-given faith in Him, we are assured that we cannot be condemned by the law or separated from God’s love in Christ (R OMANS 8:1,35-39) . In Christ , and by God-given faith in Him, we are assured that Satan’s and our enemy’s accusations against us are futile because THEY AR

...by the BLOOD OF JESUS

"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus." -HEBREWS 10:19 [KJV] Nothing will satisfy a living soul but coming "into the holiest." He wants to have communion with God, the holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts. He is not dealing with a God distant and afar off, an idol, a God in whom he has neither faith, nor hope, nor love; who can neither see, nor hear, nor save; a God of his own conception or of some indistinct, traditional opinion; but he feels in his very conscience that he is carrying on a sacred and holy intercourse with the God of heaven and earth, the God who has made Himself in some measure known to his soul as the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. With Him he has to do; to Him he must come; and with Him he must hold holy communion. Before His heart-searching eyes he feels he stands; into His ever-open ears he pours his petition; to His mercy and pity he appeals; His compassion he craves; His

God is our Refuge!

"The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous ha th hope in his death." -P ROVERBS 14:32 [KJV] We may combine the elements of both parts of this proverb so that it reads: "The wicked has no refuge in his death, and is therefore banished in his wickedness; but the righteous has a refuge in his death, from which he is never banished." In contrast to the "righteous," the "wicked" chooses to continue in his wickedness, refusing to trust in Jesus Christ for the salvation of his soul, and refusing to find refuge in Him. "For the wicked ... renounces the LORD. The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts" (Psalm 10:3f). Consequently, at the moment of death: 1. "The wicked is banished in his wickedness" because he has no refuge. He knows that this present world, even with all its trouble, is the best existence he will ever know, and he dreads what awaits

Christ Continually With His People!

“ ...and lo, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS , even unto the end of the world. Amen.” - M ATTHEW 28:20 [KJV] When Christ says “ always,” He means to give us the assurance that there should never be a moment in which that presence cannot be our experience. Yet it does not depend upon what we can effect, but upon what He undertakes to do. The omnipotent Christ is indeed the omnipresent Christ. His promise to us is: “ I am with you always.” Let your faith in Christ, the Omnipresent One, be in the quiet confidence that He will be with you every day and every moment. Meet Him in prayer, and let His presence be your strength for service. -Copied
