LET US PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS

"Let us praise the name of Jesus, Prophet, Priest and sovereign King; To Him render adoration, Laud and homage to Him bring. Let us praise the name of Jesus, God Incarnate from above; Came to save His chosen people, Sent by God in cov’nant love.   Let us praise the name of Jesus, Who upon Mount Calvary; Shed His blood and sealed our pardon, Died from sin to set us free. Let us praise the name of Jesus, Risen, conquering, gracious Friend; Advocate and Mediator, All our hopes on Him depend.   Let us praise the name of Jesus, For He brought us to His fold; Come exalt His Name and worship, May the Savior be extolled. Let us praise the name of Jesus, Till we see Him face to face; Then throughout the endless ages, Praise Him for His love and grace." -TUNE TO "LOVE DIVINE" 8.7.8.7. DOUBLE WORDS BY JIM BYRD

Encouragement in Christ JESUS, friends

"I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine, of the juice of my pomegranate." - Song of Solomon 8:2 [KJV] What, my soul, hast thou aught to offer to thy Jesus? Will He accept a present at thine hand? Yes, Jesus will accept those goings forth of His own grace, His own gifts, in the exercises of faith, and love, and joy, and praise; when, by His own sweet and reviving communications, He hath called to the north wind, and to the south wind, to blow a gracious gale upon my soul, and causeth the very graces He Himself hath planted in my heart to send forth all their powers in the enjoyment of His person and righteousness.     And do not forget, my soul, for thine encouragement to this lovely and becoming frame, these will be more grateful to thy God and Saviour than all whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices. These will be indeed like spiced wine, and the juice of the pomegranate, when those tears of faith, and love, and repentance drop at the mercy-seat, in the contemplation of th

Miles McKee The next matter we want to consider is that we are Justified by Grace.   Romans 3:24 says, “ Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: “ He declares us justified.....not guilty.....by grace. I was talking to a man once and mentioned that we are justified by grace. “Oh no” he said. We are justified by faith (as if they were contrary). However, we don’t need to reconcile these truths, they are not at war. They are friends and not enemies. Justification by grace is one of the vast kaleidoscope of truths discovered in the great doctrine of Salvation.   A person who is Justified by grace realizes that there is nothing deserving in him that made God declare him not guilty.  It is justification by grace …  unearned and undeserved favour.  We are declared ‘Not Guilty” without a cause in us. That’s grace! Not only is Justification without a cause in us, but it is also without a cost to us. – W
