Thought for the Day ~ 24 November, 2025 A.D.

"Almost half the Bible is prophecy. Unless a servant of God is informed on prophecy, he is unable to know how to avoid unscriptural alliances and entanglements. Many movements that look innocent enough may be headed in the wrong direction.  Jesus said, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment , " John 7:24. No movement can be rightly judged save in the light of God's Word.  When men neglect to study or preach the prophetic part of God's Word they may be neglecting the very thing that God put in His Word to enable them to see and understand the character and the trend of that movement.  The only way to keep out of the Devil's traps is to keep ourselves and others informed on all that the Word of God teaches, and to watch and pray ." -G. E. Jones , ‘The Millennial Issue’ , pg. 110

Great Encouragement in Christ JESUS ~ 24 November, 2025 A.D.

"Behold My servant, whom I uphold; Mine elect, in whom My soul delighteth."   - Isaiah 42:1 [KJV] Angels reproved disciples of old with, “Why stand ye gazing up into heaven?”   (Acts 1:11.) How much do we deserve this reproof? Why stand ye gazing upon the vanities of the earth? Soul, what art thou looking at? What is the object of thy intention tonight? Be it what it may, God calleth to thee, and demands audience of Him, and attention to Him. It is for your comfort and His glory. The Majesty of heaven speaks to sinful worms of the earth.  Behold. Take off your eyes and thoughts from every object; be all eye, ear, and attention to Me. Ye poor, miserable, law-condemned, sin-distressed souls, look at, and take special notice of My servant. Wonder, adore, rejoice, and love. My beloved, My co-equal Son, who is Lord of all, becomes man, takes on Him the form of a servant, to do My will perfectly, and to finish your salvation completely. Whom I uphold. Carnal reason bow. Satani...

LORD JESUS Christ ~ Messenger & Angel of The Covenant

"Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of Him, and obey His voice, for My Name is in Him." -Exodus 23:20, 21 [KJV] Who can this be, my soul, but Jesus? He, and He only, who is the whole of the covenant, is also the Messenger and the Angel of the covenant. Jehovah hath never put His name in any other; neither given His honour to any other. But in Jesus He is eternally well pleased, and hath given all things into His hand. Pause then, my soul, and contemplate this holy, this blessed, this only-begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. I see in Him all the glory, the sovereignty, the wisdom, grace and goodness of the Father, and He is Jehovah's salvation to the ends of the earth. And wilt Thou then, my gracious God and Father, send Jesus before me in all my way, to keep me, to guide me, and to bring me in, to behold Thy glory in the face of Jesus Christ, and to dwell with Thee for ...

A Solemn Admonition

"But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." -Hebrews 10:39 [KJV] The Scriptures have brought certain marks not only to test, but also to comfort God's people. But in order to keep them tremblingly alive to the fear of being deceived; in order to set up an effectual beacon lest their vessel should run upon the rocks, the blessed Spirit has revealed such passages as we find in the sixth and tenth chapters of the Hebrews. They seem set up by the Spirit of God as a light-house at the entrance of a harbour. Is it not so naturally? Some shoal or sand-bank often lies near the entrance of a port, which the mariner has to guard against. How is he guarded? A light-house is erected on or near the spot, which warns him of the shoal. Now I look on the sixth and tenth chapters of the Epistle to the Hebrews as two light-houses standing near the entrance of the harbour of eternal safety. And their language is, "Beware o...
